The skilled Master of Horsemanship Holger Münstermann, who spent many years training at DOKR in Warendorf in his youth, has now been running his own establishment in Werl-Holtum near Dortmund for more than 25 years.
Today, Holger Münstermann is celebrating his sporting successes as an instructor and international trainer. However, he also won countless medals, from “Juniors” to “Young Riders” and on to “Grand Prix Sport”, and can look back on a significant and extraordinary career.
The list of his successes is a long one… So here are just a few highlights:
As the youngest finalist in the Hamburg Derby, he and his horses Flair and Monticello secured the victory and brought the coveted laurel wreath home

After more than 30 years working as a trainer around the world …
… Holger Münstermann is now concentrating exclusively on training from his home base – in Westphalia in the heart of Germany.
Equestrian sport is simply in his blood. He ran a successful stud with his mother, which saw more than 100 foals born over the years. This stud produced national champions, top-priced auction horses and Olympic competitors.

At the request of riders, Holger Münstermann also acts as a broker in an advisory capacity to help find a suitable new or better horse for the rider – with more than 25 years’ experience and countless national and international contacts.
